Abstract English

Diminution in Arabic: the Dhamma of the first, and the Alfateha of the second, and the addition of a third Yaa sakenah, the Arabic scholars singled it out in their books in a separate chapter, telling the learner about it, and revealing to them the methods of the Arabs in it, and explaining to them the methods of applying it to variousnouns, so they talked to them about the diminution of Double, triple, quadrable, and quintuple nouns, and explained about what is happening to the diminutive noun of events other than what has been settled upon of its concept.The diminution, in its state had grammatical and morphological effects, which the grammarians separated in the chapters of grammar and morphology, among them was the transfer of the Mabni to the syntax, the invalidation of the work of the worker, the collection of what does not collect, the return of the letter to its origin, and the return of the deleted; the grammarians armed with it, And they made it one of their arguments in the dispute, so I assigned myself to collect the dispersed, and bring it out to the experts of Arabic, so that it would be easier for them to imagine the role of diminutiveness in Arabic and its impact on it

الملخص العربي

التصغير في العربية: ضم الأول، وفتح الثاني، وزيادة ياء ساكنة ثالثة، اختصّه علماء العربية في مؤلفاتهم بباب مستقل، يُخبرون المتعلمَ عنه، ويكشفون لهم أساليب العرب فيه، ويُوضّحون لهم طرائق تطبيقه على مختلف الأسماء، فيُحدثونهم عن تصغير الثنائي والثلاثي والرباعي والخماسي، ويُبينون لهم عمّا يجري على المصغر من أحداث غير ما استقرّ في مفهومه، وعُرف به، واشتهر أمره معه.التصغير الذي كانت هذه حاله، كان له آثار نحوية وصرفية، فرّقها النحويون في أبواب النحو والصرف، فكان منها نقلُ المبني إلى الإعراب، وإبطالُ عمل العامل، وجمعُ ما لا يُجمع سلامة عليها، وردّ الحرف إلى أصله، وإرجاع المحذوف، وتسلّح به النحويون، وجعلوه حجة من حججهم في الخلاف، فانتدبتُ نفسي إلى جمع هذا المتفرق، وإخراجه لشُداة العربية، حتى يسهل عليهم تصورُ أثرالتصغير في نحو العربية وصرفها.
