Abstract English

This paper entitled “from ontological truth to epistemological truth. A reading into the explanatory adequacy of the grammatical government” is based on the descriptive and comparative approach to summarize the position of critics of the government system in the Arabic grammatical tradition in terms of their view of it as a system imposed on the language from outside it, then it details the nature of scientific truth and its transformations, and shows the relationship between this and understanding the nature of the relationship between reality and theory, and the relationship of this to understanding the nature of the relationship between the studied reality and the explained theory. It shows the grammarians’ perception of this interpretation that they presented, and the impact of the perception in pushing criticisms as criticisms that did not understand the logic adapted by grammarians and the historical contexts in which both grammars; Western and Arabic arose.

الملخص العربي

يقوم البحث على المنهج الوصفيّ والمقارن؛ ليُلخِّص موقف ناقدي نظام العامل في التراث النحوي العربي من جهة عدِّهم إياه نظامًا مفروضًا على اللغة من خارجها، ويبيّن خلفيّات هذا النقد إبستمولوجيًّا والظروف التي دعت اللسانيّين البنيويّين إلى تبنّيه واعتماده. ثم يقدِّم تفصيلًا لتصّور الحقيقة العلميّة في إطار فلسفة العلم، وتحوّلات هذا التصوّر، وعلاقة ذلك بفهم طبيعة العلاقة بين الواقع المدروس والنظريّة المُفسّرة، وأثر هذه التحوّلات في فهم مبدأ السببيّة وتفسيره. ويبيَّن البحث بعد ذلك طبيعة تصوّر نحاة العربيّة للنظريّة التفسيريّة التي قدّموها للتراكيب المختلفة انطلاقًا من نصوصهم التحليليّة، وأثر هذا التصوّر في تبديد النقود التي كانت موجّهة إلى التراث النحويّ العربيّ بوصفها نقودًا منطلقة من مقدّمات لم تفهم منطق النحاة الذي اعتمدوه في بناء نظريّتهم، ولم تراع السياقات التاريخيّة والظروف التي نشأت فيها الأنحاء الغربيّة من جهة والنحو العربيّ من جهة أخرى.
